I'm flourishing into the 8th grade this Tuesday and I know I should be experienced already but I wanna make this year the best year eva!
So a several of questions I have is what supplies do I need? Im going to staples tomorrow but only have a rough list of what I need. So far, I only have binder, notebook, folders. ( already have paper and pencils). So what else should I get?
Also, how should I establish everything? Should I get a 5 subject notebook, separate notebook for each class and folders. Or what?
If you need to know my schedule :
1 and 2 Vernacular Arts
3 P.E.
4 Leadership
5 Algebra
6 Science
7 Social Studies
Thanks for all your help!
Sounds like you already have everything you prerequisite!
As for organization -- I personally find that having separate binders/folders makes me more organized. That way you have all your notes for one submit in one place and it keeps you more focused. Plus, let's say you only have algebra homework that night, you just need to take your algebra malarkey, not carry around a huge notebook with all your stuff in it. It's more convenient that way in my opinion.
Good luck!

It's been a prolonged time since I've been in the 8th grade, but I always loved going to Staples and getting organized.
For Language Arts, Initiative, Algebra, Science, and Social Studies I would suggest getting a 2' binder with a clear intent sheet and a set of five dividers (paper with colored tabs on the side). If you can find dividers with pockets on them, that's a plus. Buying a lot of separate notebooks always seemed understanding of pointless to me.
I would suggest getting at least one 5 subject notebook just carry it on top of your binder that's what I always did and kept additional paper and returned papers in the actual binder. Get the ones that let you tear the paper out easy though. Teachers hate when you by the manner that leaves the stringy torn paper.
I would also get 5 folders in case a teacher requires you to have one to put work in and turn in routine. Be sure to get the one's that have 3 clips so you can put paper in them though! I wouldn't worry about carrying them with me the first day.
For Algebra be sure to get graphing paper cause you'll very likely use a lot of it! A scientific calculator is also good to have. If you're going into Algebra II next year or Geometry and you're a responsible young grown-up who wouldn't lose it I would go ahead and get a "graphing calculator" if your teacher allows it. You'll also scarcity a ruler.
I think that's about all you'll need. For P.E. I would get a few pairs of tshirts and shorts or wind breaker pants for the upcoming winter, and also something to tote everything around in (unusually if you wear dress shoes to school and don't want to tote around tennis shoes)
Sorry this is so wish winded. Good luck on Tuesday, have fun and enjoy it. Time flies by once you're out of school!

Acer or MSI? Whats the best brand to buy for laptop?

Im upgrading my netbook to a notebook. The examine is just to hard on my eyes when it comes to doing papers and stuff for college. Ive got it down to either the new acer timeline 13 inch, or the MSi x320-40. Whats avid is, they both have things about them that make me not want them, at least not right now. I need to know if i should get one of the models, and if so which is best for me? Also if it is better for me to hold on for second generation models to come out for both and decide then?
I have a powerful desktop at home, so this computer would be used strictly for high school. So doing papers, lecture notes, homework, and research. So the main aspects i need are battery existence, portability( weight), and hardrive. Ram and processor arent as much but still somewhat important.

Where can I find a cool zipper binder for my son for school?
May 21, 8202 by KimS | Posted in Other - Education
My son is 8 and is sympathetic of a skater boy. I am looking for a cool 3 ring zipper binder with skulls or flames or something on there for him to use for school. I can't find ANY on the internet that are big enough to sermonize on notebooks and paper and stuff. The only ones I have found are plain or girly.

An explosion of colour with swirling galaxies, bright stars and a beautiful angel! Her stars really do almost appear to glow! My own original acrylic painting.
The fourth installment in my Poisonous Beauties series - a series of works featuring portraits of faery creatures and various poisonous plants! #4 in this series of course features the Poison Ivy plant! I've never suffered negative effects from poison ivy, but I know folks who have and it can be awful! Still lovely though - and so is this pretty fairy girl - maybe a little too lovely to trust....
