United States Map - Help with famous landmarks (Urgent!)?
Hi. For AP past, we have to fill in a blank map. I've been having some trouble with certain places though. Like one map of the Oregon Trail has little loops, but another is good straight.

The Oregon Trail was not like a highway... There were original segments used for different reasons. Like the Lander cutoff...

Biological mother vs. Guardian/Parent. Need help?
First, It would be trappings to give a background of the situation:
My fiancè became pregnant when she was 18 years old, and fresh out of High School. She gave ancestry to a beautiful litttle blonde headed boy. That boy will now be three come october, and has the memory and attention span of a lad twice his age.
The child's biological father took a 9 month hiatus and has since seen the child twice. The last occasionally before these two occurances was Thanksgiving.
Okay, a few early months into my fiancè's pregnancy the bio-dad hit the bricks. After a brief altercation with her own parents (they kicked her out for being in the pudding club) , she was allowed to move home. So, she was unemployed and without even the lowest of low to provide anything for the child when he was born.
Her parents negotiated with her, weighty her the child should not be forced to be covered by medicare. During a custody hearing (the father didnt attend) it was agreed to the courts, with their attorney my betrothedè granted her father Guardianship rights in order to provide health insurance. It stipulated my husband-to-beè should pay a measly $65 a week in child support. Her father agreed, if she continued in school, and helped around the strain, the $65 would be unecessary. He was informed by the attorney the state would not oversee the payments and compliance was his responsibility.
Securely forward three years...
Hello, my name is Ross. I am a 21 year old half-time college admirer and full-time worker. I've recently moved back in with my mother, because lets be serious... life sucks.
A not enough over one month ago, my house recieved a phone call from child protective services. Long story scanty my mother agreed to care for my cousin's three children (ages 12, 9, and then 6 weeks) until him and his wife got their **** straightened out. We are not a on Easy Street family by any means so my fiancè, who's only daily activities have consisted of caring for her own child, enlisted herself to babysit for only $100 a week.
A scanty more background, my mother and my fiancè's homes are about 30 minutes a part. My mother works mon-fri leaving at about 5:30am and my up-father at about 6:45am.
Week 1: Not knowing the extent of this stay my fiancè stays at my familiar with.
Week 2: it is agreed that her son can stay here during the deration of the babysitting job.
- during week two her mother phones and says, "I reflect on ______ would enjoy sleeping in his own bed for the weekend." Everyone was ok with it, the child would return on Monday.
Week 3: Tuesday, my bride-è's mother expresses interest in keeping the child until Friday so she can take him to the zoo, etc. Things are getting weird.
Saturday morning, i wake up gravely flustered. I was in the dark why the child hadn't come back. More so, my fiancè's phone is blowing up from her family members, "how the **** are you succeeding to ditch ____ with mom and dad a d go move in with Ross!?" ...etc. Myself and my fiancè, infuriated and confused, call her parents. "You're not winning ____ anywhere."
Extremely pissed i got myself involved. Went to their house, and we made an agreement. The child could postpone with me as long as it took.
Once again i was left out of the loop and my fiancè agreed to scrap that idea as well.
We're now in week 7. Traction is at an all time high. These people cant handle raising my child, yet now it is completely out of the question the child set-back with me. Numerous atlercations have occured countless times in front of the child. My fiancè has begged and pleaded she be allowed to mammy her own son, but has only been met with threats she will be reported to the police for kidnapping. She returns home 3 days a week but apparently that isn't enough. Her ancestor has issued her a statement he will report her for lack of child support, limit her to only scheduled visits to his people's home, and take away her car. The car isn't a big deal i own two.
The immediate answer is she has to move back home; i can only appreciate this now as my mother will more than likely be forced to beat it her job if she cannot find a new sitter.
Major plot points: my family is recieving no financial assistance from either the state (yet) or the parents of the children as they are inactive.
I have audio recording featuring the voice of the child, and his drunk grandmother threatening to call the police for nothing and refering to her own daughter as "a degenerate" .
Last week the woman was bitten in the face by the grandparents boxer, i have a photograph.
What the **** do I have to do to get the two loves of my life out of this situation!?

What is your back-to-school style and is it different than last year's?

This year, I went to the stores Pac Sun, Forever 21, Wet Seal and Discovery (very for peanuts clothes and accessories but still in style and cute too) and I bought 2 button down buffalo plaid short sleeve t shirts. They're so pretty! I also bought 2 braided style white belts, one is thin and has a few studs and one is thick. I bought a cute silver loop necklace. I bought a span of skinny jeans that fits me really, really well. I got 3 tank tops, one is blue cheetah type with a little lace and glitter, a black and white zebra style one, and a gray tank top with a colorful intentions on it. And I got a t-shirt that looks like a notebook with hearts on it and it says "love". I also got a melancholy and black plaid headband and a blue, purple and pink splatter style belt.
Haha, apologetic I know that was long, you don't have to read the whole thing but basically I think my style changed because last year I wore Abercrombie, Aeropostale, etc. and all of my clothes was good blue jeans and t-shirts that say "ABERCROMBIE" and boring stuff.
And I only dressed like that because I wanted to fit in, but now my cut is cuter and more unique.
What's your back-to-school style and what stores do you like?

Discovery is a store only in Chicago. They sell trendy baloney at a low price, but not always the best quality. Some snobby people consider it a "poor people stock".
OMG. I am so proud of you - I absoultely abominate all those girls who dress like Abercombie clones, and pay so much money for boring shirts - It's awesome that you came to your senses, and now you got shape! Haha, I matured a bit from my style last year.
Last year, I went to Pac Sun, Forever 21, most of the stores you went to , Charlotte Russe, and miserliness stores - and basically made my own rock, hipster look. I wore skinny jeans and basically thats it, But I realized this year it was a bit sterotypical, and I DO not crave to be average.
So this year, I went to all those same stores - I love the clothes, but I just chose more mature pieces, heels, and much more in fashion mature outfits that show off my independent style in a way that looks like I came off a runway.
I'm really ardent to go back to school and just walk around in my heels and cute skirts and dresses - but I still have my skinny jeans which I love, but now I can in fact be a girly rocker chick!

you know what makes me really fortuitous? how I shop at all these places people have in their before style, like jcpenny, kohls, tjmaxx, etc - and my wardrobe looks awesome - its mature, classy, edgy.

Teenage question help?
I'm perfectly turned 14 but I'm the shortest out of all of my friends, the least developed, and I just feel really out of the loop and ugly when I am around them. I keenness I would just grow, I mean I am 14! Everyone else is normal - tall, slender, all developed, and then there's me. And I am entering high-pitched school in the fall, I want to look like a freshman, not like a 7th grade baby (no offense to 7th graders). Any recommendation please to help me? All I want is to grow!
Why was my crucifix unknowingly removed from my necklace?
In the before few months, my crucifix (my grandma gave me- she is still alive btw) has been removed from the chain which I never take off (it is gold). In order for the huffy to come off, I would have to remove the chain from my neck, slide the cross off, then place it back on...
I have my own room and one roommate who never comes in my chamber. So I know it's not a prank.
I did not know it was gone the first time, until I found it under my bed when I was changing the sheets. I thought maybe my course broke. However, my chain wasn't broken! it was still intact on my neck. I examined the cross, and the loop which connects it to the bind was also unharmed. strange... okay. I ignored it and just place it back on my chain.
2 months later, my roommate knocks on my door and hands me my rub out. he said he found it in the hallway. again, the chain is on my neck. cross is fine.
i had my mother take it to a jeweler to have it examined and set-up if needed. they said there was nothing wrong with it and there is no reason for it to come off.
again, I do not ever remove my chain/cross.
In addition to this, the control had broke one time while I was changing into a sweater and the zipper caught onto it. it then was missing a link. I was VERY angry to the mark I was hitting myself. Out of nowhere, I heard a "ding" hit my closet door (I was on my bed). low and behold...it was the missing affiliation in my chain. I got that fixed.
So, I don't know whether to be concerned or not. I read on wikipedia that the Brown scapular saves people from torture if they die wearing it. however, if the person is unrepentful sinner, the scapular will be removed spontaneously from him/her at death.
I am in school and don't attend church much anymore. I don't bleed for I have lost my faith, but I know I have sometimes had doubt in God due to various things: why would a loving god allow children to be raped and killed? why can't he put up that? how could he see a child crying for mercy, being killing and do nothing to stop their pain..and the pain of the families after their death?
I am so occupied with school. i acclimatized to be religious (not a fanatic though). I want be at peace again, but school is overwhelming and is needed to survive in this tough economical globe we live in.

I posted this in the religion section for a reason. I guess that there are disbelievers who don't have a vital spark/too much time on their hands snooping around in a place they shouldn't even be in the first place (according to their non-religious ideals).
