what kind of supplies will i need for high school?
i separate ill need basics like pencils and paper but what else? im a freshman and im gonna be in the honors curriculum.
honors english 1
honors algebra 1
honors sphere 1
intro to social studies
P.E
& honors spanish 1

Basically all the supplies's that will keep you organized. That's the most important thing. Usually, things such as planners, calculators, rulers, etc. are supplied to you.
I would say close notes.My friends had honors English freshman year.They needed it to annotate.Binders are very notable.Folder dividers of course.Anything else just ask.
Do u think ignorance on limits of Federal powers is result of Federal intervention in state schools?
People periodically stick on here questions about whether the health care plan is Constitutional, and MANY in favor of it not just argue it is, but say whatever Congress votes for is Constitutional. Is one side effectiveness of unConstitutional meddling by the federal government in state schools requiring 'teach to test' that there is no prematurely to teach basic civics?
What do you think?
For those under 25 who went to public schools (after the Fed intervention hit) did your school indoctrinate you about separation of powers under the Constitution and limits on Federal powers? I do know text books lean to be 'regularized', so I wonder. If you were tought that, what part of the country are you from?
When I grew up in California, they tought it here, but the Federal government hadn't entranced over the curriculum yet, as much as it has now.
g that last bit is what I was talking about. They used to teach this in schools as part of a mandatory 'civics' class.
Have I lost my mind...... (Preschool)?
My 4 y/o has been attending a church daycare since he was an infant. He will quickly be starting in the preschool class (which doesn't seem like a big jump, considering their education program, from lineage, is excellent). I pay $100 a week.
I have the option to send him to a charter/ state funded preschool for unrestricted but am having second thoughts. The curriculum is no different than the preschool at the daycare. 100% of the teaching staff has 5 years familiarity or less. Based on test results in the state of Texas, this school is ranked a 4 out of 10.
Beginning January 1st, I will have 3 in daycare and sending him to the testify funded school would help out a lot there. My parents can watch him next summer, the hours go along perfectly w/ my work schedule, etc.
However, I'm very recently having a very hard time trying to talk myself into the change. I really am happy w/ him where he is now and he does very, very well. Am I being too close-minded here? Afraid of change? I honestly have no worries right now w/ him where he is and I am afraid of moving out of my comfort zone. If I keep him where he is now and carry on to pay, have I lost my mind?
I've always been under the impression that a regular preschool had more learning opportunities than a daycare/ preschool but I'm even-handed not seeing any differences here.

My 13yo stepson has at best moved in with us for the first time and after
asessing his maths over the last week, I have concluded that he is currently only just working at Plane 4 of the KS3 curriculum, way below what he should be.
I am concerned about his starting at a new school in September and want to give him the best opportunity I can to catch up over the next month and after he starts school. I don't think that there is anything wrong with him, although he talks a lot about a lack of support at his previous school.
I know this is a very general question but can you advise on where to off with tutoring him at home? Hope you can help somehow!!

The account books have been changed to take out anything Christian about the forefathers. I have seen smears about George Washington.
I see a great puzzle with the godless teaching our children. What we once thought was in the universities has now gone down to the elementary level.

Florida Certification?
I took my GK exam and did not old-fashioned the English Language Skills. I also did not pass the Middle Grades Integrated Curriculum. My question is can I still teach? I was told that even though I failed my exam I still can inform about so I wanted to know should I apply to schools? How long is the process..
I just applied for a cerification so I am waiting for my letter can I still suit? I also was thinking about taking the K-6 test as well just so I can try and get a job
