Can you explain this dream?
Jul 30, 2009 by Sierra | Posted in Religion & Spirituality
I had a other-worldly dream last night where I lived in Australia by a lake or a sound kind of thing. There was a long, exacting dock that ran all the way across it, and underneath that, was a tunnel aquarium. I walked across the dock and later, back at my house, my mother, my sister, and I went under the mend to see the aquarium. But I could barely breathe, and there was a limited amount of oxygen in there. All of the fish we saw were huge and grey and ugly, and a lot of them were defraud rays. Eventually, I couldn't breathe anymore so I rushed out the doors and found myself at an amusement park that's near my cat-house free and my school, which doesn't make any sense because I live in Seattle.
Dreams don't cruel anything.

I'm gonna Go to throw a Sweet 16(haha I know...stupid but I want to) And I've been having a heck of a era trying to find something to do! Soo I need a little help lol. Here's whats giving me trouble with this:
**SMALL town: No shops, restaurants, bring, athletic areas; only a park and the school!
**There'll be around 15 people, BOTH boys and girls
**I have a LOW budget so far!
**The closest town with things to do is 30 minutes, the next is 2 hours, but its bigger.
**We could go to the lake, but I don't recognize what we'd do there...
Thanks in advance!! I really wanna do something different for once lol and I REALLY need all the help, and ideas I can get!
I need some enlightenment, please?

GPA give someone a shock. Do I have enough time?
I just finished sophomore year with a cumulative GPA of 3.31. I really bombed sophomore year. I undeniably want to have a 3.6 GPA or higher by the time I graduate from High School. Actually I really want to have a 3.7, but is it realizable? I only have two more years of High School left. Do I have enough time? I applied for AP English 11 and World History, so will that aide dramatically? Also, when do I suppose to apply for scholarships? I'm closer to University of Maryland: College Park, so I really desire to go there.
That's another thing that stresses me out. What if I don't make ALL A's!?

Navy Nukes yay or nay?

I am looking at joining the Navy Nukes program. I am 30, I'm married and have 3 kids. I've spent several years in the Tommy Atkins sector, but my company is going to go through mass layoffs. I have had a bunch of different jobs, and all I want is steadfastness. I want to have a job where I work at and after I turn 60 I want to have enough money to live happily with my wife, renting/owning a condo across from pacbell park and having bad ass SF giants ready tickets.
I guess a couple questions I have are these:
1) can anyone shed some light on how difficult Nuke school is?
2) what is life like on a submarine?
3) how large are the deployments? (i've been told 6 months sea, 18 months shore)
4) What is daily work like as a submarine constable?

edit: i wanted to add some more to this
i was considering air force, but was told by the recruiter that OTS wouldn't be available until 2011.
for those that served as enlisted on a sub, what did you propose b assess of the officer's jobs? what did you see them do?

I have a few questions about drivers training...?
Jul 29, 2009 by Rachel | Posted in Insurance & Registration
I lately started drivers training a few days ago, and I have driven one time before in the parking lot with cones at the driving school. However, I have a few questions. Next week, we go out on the palpable road.
1. Does an instructer always come with you? Because when I was driving in the coned parking lot, they communicated through walkie talkies. Will they do that on the official road?
2. Does the instructer always have a brake on his side? As in, ALWAYs, as in, every car with a student driver in it? (I'm a little paranoid about there NOT being a brake on his side)
3. Any tips for prospering out on the road for the first time? I'm a little nervous, so any advice would be great, thanks =)
4. How fast do you go the first time on the track? Do you go on a highway/neighborhood/freeway?
Thank you so much for bearing with me ^^
