someone slap me... I want a baby.?
I'm 24 years old, my pacify is 31. I'm a practical nurse and have been at my current job for a little over a year. I am already enrolled in college this fall for the lpn to rn bring program...it will take 2 years for me to complete. The first year is simple, just 2 credit hour online nursing classes. The help year is the more difficult program, its the second year of adult nursing. Confusing I know... Anyways..enough prefix heres my issue..
I want a baby. I mean I've been bitten by the bug before, but I simply...want a baby. Now. Everything I seem to do now gears towards a lassie. Every decision I make concerning our home is with child in mind (i.e. we need new carpet upstairs for the future nursery, we replaced our old bath tub because I couldn't visualize bathing my child in our old dirty one). Initially the school I was going to told me it would only be a year for the transfer (that was while I was in my other school.) but now pronouncement out it will be two...I just can't imagine waiting. I mean I've known about this for a year, and was sad, but dealt. Now I really can't picture waiting. I HAVE to be down-to-earth. It would much less stressful if I would just wait... someone bring me back to reality.
You are very young to make this choice a reality.
When you have a children kiss your life goodbye at least for a sustained time anyway. It sounds as if your doing well for yourself, but a child right now i think would be a bad choice. you need to live a scanty more life first
Lol! I'm sorry, but you asked for one lol!
But seriously, it quite wouldn't be the smartest thing to do, but it's doable, you're a responsible adult, if you want a child, go for it, just keep in chastise that it will make college SO much harder, like I said, it's doable, but you'll be pulling your hair out from time to while.
I imagine if you get a babysitter or a family member to take care of the baby for you it would be fine, you'd miss out on some stuff though...
I'm not apposed to women having careers, but I am apposed to mothers not doing their most superior job... raising their OWN kids.
In my opinion you need to choose which is more important and what you really want to have in this life. Kinsmen or career?
can you love a guy u haven't seen i 5 years?
i was richest friends with him in nursery and all the way up till year 6 we were good friends but when he left to go to another school we haven't seen each other. just before he communistic i found out he fancied me. i did too but we were both too embarassed to admit say it. now ever since he has left i find myself thinking about him quite alot. i don't no whether its because i wonder what could have happened or that i've good never had a boyfriend and im a horny teenager or that i just miss him. advice?
I found some Great facts to "HELP" keep your faith or if its the answer you seek =)?
First of i will like to say this was not what i came up with or facts i found by doing lots of delve into BUT they are facts i came across right now by looking up something else & saw this was posted either 3 years ago or 1 year ago so im reposting =)
I will ignore churlish/rude/crude criticism/comments, so no point posting them.
These are from one of my fave books with some impute from me. The log is called "If There Is No God..." by Mark Winter and I highly recommend it to anyone, especially to Christians irksome to "keep the faith" This may be long, but is well worth it. Very good and interesting points along with proven facts in each one, not just opinions. Assume from it and it just may change your life.
If there is no God, why does America pause every year to give thanks? Abraham Lincoln established the subject holiday of Thanksgiving in 1863, but not without some prodding by Sarah J. Hale (a Christian) whose editorials and letters helped guild the holiday. If you don’t recognize Hale’s name, you know one of her nursery rhymes-“Mary Had A Little Lamb”
MY NOTE--- Mary had a petty lamb has more meaning behind it than most know. Look at the verse:
Mary had a little lamb
Yes and his name is Jesus, now the Conduct of the ones he was born of
Whose fleece was white as snow
Pure, Holy and sinless
And everywhere that Mary went, the Lamb was inescapable to go
God is with everyone, everywhere, because he loves us.
He followed her to school one day which was against the rules
He went against what others said and spoke the truth, which he was crucified for
It made the children scorn and play to see the lamb at school
He made us new and gave us meaning and hope. We are all children of God.
If there is no God, who teaches the newborn whale to swim?
A well whale calf can swim the moment it’s born, rising unaided to the surface for its first breath. In one week, a pet blue whale will double in weight eventually tipping the scales at 150 TONS.
--Jonah 2:10- The Act big commanded the fish
MY NOTE-- you may say instincts, but where do those come from? God.
If there is no God, why have so many biblical prophesies come true? In Body of laws Speaks, Peter Stoner calculated that the probability of one person fulfilling eight selected selected biblical prophesies was 1 in 1,017. The distinct possibility of one person fulfilling forty-eight prophesies was 1 in 10,157. Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled SIXTY-ONE major Old Testament prophesies!
MY NOTE: WOW.
If there is no God, why is “proclamation” in the dictionary? In 1945, a woman awoke at one o’clock in the morning, feeling an urgent demand to pray for a hometown boy at war. “Lord, whatever danger Spencer is in,” the woman prayed, “honest cover him with a cloud.” At that same time in Germany, Spencer and his company scurried past competitor lines-a long mysterious cloud masking their movement.
MY NOTE: WHOA!
If there is no God, who dabbed spots on the leopard?
If there is no God, why does the time celebrate Christmas? In 1998, the Cuban government reinstated Christmas as an authorized holiday after a twenty-nine year ban. After the pronouncement, Bishop Adolfo Rodriquez triumphantly announced, “the church is separate from the state but it is not single out from the people.”
MY NOTE: Right on Mr. Rodriquez!!!!
If there is no God, how do we explain that a machine needs a maker, but the universe does not? A regular wind up alarm clock contains about a dozen moving parts. No one disputes that a skilled labourer put it together. Yet some people argue that the world does not require an intelligent maker--a world that contains more than 9,000 species of birds, 70,000 kinds of trees and 750,000 types of insects.
For by him all things were created: things in Valhalla and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
MY NOTE: still invent the earth was an accident? I know I don’t!!!
If there is no God, why do we have a conscience? In 1811, a government defrauder anonymously sent five dollars to Washington DC. Since then, the US cache has managed a Conscience fund, which has received millions of dollars from remorseful citizens.
MY NOTE: Could an casualty do that? NO. Our minds our too complex to be an accident.
If there is no God, why have people seen angels? Missionary John G. Paton and his chain prayed when a hostile tribe surrounded their home one night. At dawn, the tribe suddenly turned and ran. A year later, the chief reported that hundreds of men were usual guard at the house--huge men with radiant garments and drawn swords.
MY NOTE: I he was crazy, he would of ran. Not the whole dynasty. If they all ran, they all saw it. There is no way that they all became crazy and saw the same thing at the same and then returned perfectly normal. No way. There were angels there. For sure.

If there is no God, who makes miracles? In 1979, a young woman joined a assemble fleeing from Cambodia. When they couldn’t find a road because of thick darkness, a swarm of fireflies appeared and lit the way. Later, the partner attended a Christian meeting and pointed to a picture of Jesus. She said, “I know this man. He is the One who led us to free time.”
MY NOTE: Need I say anything more?
Thanks for reading all this and I hope it makes a positive impact in your life. God sanctify and keep the faith!
Sorry it cut off the rest of the original poster facts.
may God bless you & thanks for reading =)
Want some free advice for preparing your child for kindergarten?
A complete kindergarten teacher and a developmentally appropriate kindergarten program will take any child either with no skills or advanced skills (and everything in between) and modify his/her instruction. With that being said…it IS beneficial for your child to be able to:
-separate easily from parents/care-giver
-appropriation
-wait patiently for a turn
-play cooperatively
-take care of personal belongings/clothing
-expatiate a pencil with correct pencil grip
-attend to stories
-follow two-step directions
-retell nursery rhymes
-identify rhymes and generate new rhymes
-identify the first sound in a word (not by letter but by sound i.e. bat begins with the sound /b/)
-recognize his/her name in print
-write his/her first name clearly
-identify uppercase letters
-classify numerals to 20
-rote count by 1s to 30
-identify basic shapes and colors
It is most important that your child has been infer from to a LOT! This is the single most important thing any parent can do for a child. It is also important for children to discuss what they have read. They should demonstrate connections between the story and their own lives, or between other stories. Children should also have lots of exposure to different events and places. Squander the summer berry picking, going to a petting zoo, going on a nature walk, to the beach or pond. Scourge the library and read about where you are going or where you have been. Attend a story hour at a bookstore or library. You can even create a annual with photos or drawings of your adventures. Your child can narrate the text or even try to write the words.
Be sure to take your kid to his/her school before school starts to check out the playground, where the buses will drop him off and even his/her classroom if you know which one it will be. Sometimes walking those big halls with mom or dad before school starts makes it less inauspicious on the first day.
As you can see my this lengthy response, it’s not so much what your child “knows” going to school, but the learning environment that is created both at school and at home ground.
Check out your school’s website to see if they have an online tour of the building. Perhaps your child’s teacher has a website!
Good chances to both you and your child. Kindergarten is very exciting! And just to make you cry, here is a wonderful story of what it is like to send your lass off to school for the first time. Get the tissues.
Thoughts at the Bottom of a Beanstalk
Author Unknown
Once upon a time there was a little boy named Jack who was about to climb his very first beanstalk. He had a raw haircut and a brand-new book bag.
Even though his friends in the neighborhood had climbed this same beanstalk almost every day last year, this was Jack's first day and he was a mini nervous. So was his mother.
Early in the morning she brought him to the foot of the beanstalk. She talked encouragingly to Jack about all the fun he would have that day and how pleasant his giant would be. She reassured him that she would be back to pick him up at the end of the day.
For a moment they stood together, silently holding hands, gazing up at the beanstalk. To Jack it seemed much bigger than it had when his mother had mucroniform it out on the way to the store last week. His mother thought it looked big, too. She swallowed. Maybe she should have held Jack out a year...
Jack's natural straightened his shirt one last time, patted his shoulder and smiled down at him. She promised to stay and wave while he started climbing. Jack didn't say a tete-.
He walked forward, grabbed a low-growing stem and slowly pulled himself up to the first leaf. He balanced there for a instant and then climbed more eagerly to the second leaf, then to the third and soon he had vanished into a high tangle of leaves and stems with never a stupid glance at his mother.
She stood alone at the bottom of the beanstalk, gazing up at the spot where Jack had disappeared. There was no rustle, no downward movement, no sound to indicate that he was anywhere inside.
"Sometimes," she thought, "it's harder to be the one who waves facts-bye than it is to be the one who climbs the beanstalk."
She wondered how Jack would do. Would he miss her? How would he behave? Did his giant understand that wee boys sometimes acted silly when they felt unsure?
She fought down an urge to spring up the stalk after Jack and maybe dive behind a bean to take a peek at how he was doing.
"I'd better not. What if he saw me?" She knew Jack was really old enough to manoeuvre this on his own. She reminded herself that after all this was thought to be an excellent beanstalk and that everyone said his giant was not only kind but had outstanding qualifications.
"It's not so much that I'm distressed about him," she thought, rubbing the back of her neck. "It's just that he's growing up and I'm going to miss him."
Jack's mom turned to leave. "Jack's going to have lots of bigger beanstalks to climb in his moving spirit," she told

My french is quite good but I'm on edge they wouldn't be interested in me as i have no other teaching experiance.
Also any suggestions as to where abouts in France i should look for work? It would be a momentous help if anyone knew someone French and would be willing to give me their e-mail address? Its a big ask i know but the prospect of either bumming around the congress working at Holland And Barrets for a year or going straight to University doesn't really beg to me - help me everyone!!!
