Need help with deciding education/career?
I have an AA inchmeal in Business Administration, and I almost have a full BS of accounting degree but decided during my internship that it wasn't for me. So at 22 I decided to go into Court Reporting, and I went to school for it for a year and would have stayed with it (I remarkably liked it), but I got tendinitis in my wrist, and had to give it up. Now, I'm 23 and I have no idea what to do. I know that sounds really young, but I married my important school sweetheart right out of school, and we have two children, so I really don't have a lot of time to keep changing my mind (plus my husband is getting a only slightly irritated with how much school I go to and never finish!).
I'm good and math and science (or at least I was in HS, but I only took basic math/science classes when I went to college the first point, just what was required to get my degree). I was thinking about getting into secondary education teaching physical sphere, but I don't know how "in demand" that particular avenue of science education is.
Does anyone have any other suggestions. I'm skilled at math, science, English isn't my strongest area, but I'm not terrible at it. Like I said I have all my general college erudition credits that can transfer to any degree, but I know I'll have to do probably another 3 years though.
By the way health science is also an interest. I was originally in Nursing school and switched to Traffic because I got pregnant and was horribly sick (which wasn't good in a hospital setting).
Decide what job you want to do, and start doing that job, and if you have to, go to school to convalesce yourself/advance/something.
Don't worry about is "in demand" today: that will change in just a couple of years. Start doing something you like, and see where that leads you.
It might be godlike to work for a while, and learn more about what you do and don't like. If you can't find a job, then find a good volunteer gig. If you think you might be interested in teaching, volunteer at a district school.
You probably want to do some career exploration (your school's career center can help).
Read http://www.johnnybunko.com/ and http://www.jobhuntersbible.com/, the books being _The Adventures of Johnny Bunko_ and _What Color is Your Parachute_.
Characterize as about your dream job. Then ask people who are doing things in your dream job, or similar to your dream job, and ask them how you should get started doing that. They will certainly endorse learning, and they may suggest college, but there are many jobs, and many paths.
A person who knows what they want to major in may not get a job, or a way to make a run for it a living. A person who knows how they want to make their living can then follow the right path to get to that end.
Can some one please give me a dream interpretation?
The Day-dream started with me typing a question to a girl i like on myspace. Than in the draem I had been walking with my friend Joe to school. I was stoped in the streets, in front of the garage diggings near mamk avenue school. the girl said hi. I forget wether she refered to what we were talking to yesterday. I talked with her and tried to hussy calming but it was in a nervious manner. She asked me to deliver a baloon to some one sick, a teacher, but I did not under stand who, Her aspect look stranged like I should of known who. For some reason I was carrying a balloon with me to school.
We were now in the hall way of my school when me and Joe made a turn. Gimme Sheltor was playing by the rolling stones when I was leaving the broad, it put me in a very good mood. When Joe tried to say some thing I motioned him to stop saying it. I finished listening to the capture murder part of the song, we were also further from the girl.
“You blew it” Joe said.
I asked really? And he respned with yes. I than brown study, well she must have been interested in me from myspsce and than in real life she tried to flirt with me. I was trying to get the point across that she was flirting with me,.
Joe walked further down the passage to a room, where I walked into a room in the my school that looked like a hospital room in the school. I saw my favorite teacher from behind and saw my other tutor who was alright an asked if I could leave this baloon here. She said until 2:45. I said if I could keep it until tomorrow. She said Until 6 some detail, and laughed and joked no.
I left the room and went to where Joe was. In the room Joe was in the right and on the left was a jacoby. I went there and noticed another boon companion next to the jacoby. I looked for my stuff and picked up his leather jacket and said a joke like “Oh whos refuse is this?” it was my other friends.
I than put it back on its spot of the jocoby. I picked up som shorts and asked who they were, and they did not know so I put them down and found my shorts.

When we arrived to the wood he convenience a piece using a slow process with his axe of denting them and he was going to hand it to me when I said I have to go and started leaving, I Nautical port off on the note that I owe him this favor of chopping wood and he owes teacing me the lyrics.
I spent a lot of time jumping fences and seeing cop cars out of date by me, the last one having no door.
I found my self near a curb with the dump, near washington street and saw a other comrade Bob with what apeared to be Elane (his girlfriend) exiting a building. I waved hi and proceeded to run over fences. They ran towards me.
We were know on streets hamper. I was getting very tired of running and bob and the girl who I though was like Elane catched up. Bob and me small talked, I told him I was in. I said a comment about the industial area like “Man the fences here are fun to jump.” And than Bob responded with and the cops are fun to run away from. I than said to him how I noticed their were a lot of cops to but none of them pulled me over.
I said how I was so worn out I wanted to run on all fours, and the girl imitated saying she liked runnng like that. I than either woke up or said obedient bye and woke up.

Essay On Race & MLK Please Review?
The founding fathers did in information struggle when they began writing the Constitution to include all individuals, while still allowing for an acknowledgement of differences as well as conjuring up the capability faculty to have hope for the future and events to come. How to Understand Slavery and the American Founding shares Matthew Spalding’s approach that the founding fathers had to compromise with regard to slavery to not promote such events but rather to tolerate where these acts were already in permanence to find agreement between all delegates who were signing the Constitution. We the Slave Owners details how a true popular society revolves around the requirements for decisions to be formulated by the People’s consenting to them; the aim for democracy through the American Revolt would be acting in vain according to Dinesh D’Souza. Frederick Douglass, a well-known former slave and activist of public rights stated that “if in its origin slavery had any relation to government, it was only as the scaffolding to the magnificent formation, to be removed as soon as the building was completed”. These less than desirable compromises allowed the process that sooner led to the abolishing of slavery via the 13th Amendment. Subsequent Amendments, the 14th and 15th gave every individual born in the United States full American citizenship and the rights that accompanied such citizenship due to the compromises that were made under the predicate to temporarily tolerate slavery. One such amendment abolished slavery while the other is reflective of some very disconcerting images from J. Hector St. John de Crevecoeur in Memoir of Charles Town paints of slaves being left in cages to die as a result of years of resentment built up against their owners that led to said slaves arduous them.
While our founding fathers did an outstanding job writing the Constitution it was not a perfect document – because of this fact there have been advancements made that have brought our Countryside to the point it is currently at. The New Segregation, by Shelby Steele discusses how delayed anger helped him one at a time develop further and to come to terms with the way he developed, stating that he is of the belief that a great number of Blacks have never fully progressed beyond the original anger they felt. Steele also goes on to discuss the guilt felt by what can be thought of as “Anaemic America” in The Double Bind of Race and Guilt with statements that for the last 30 plus years many of our Realm’s founding principles such as advancement by merit, individual rights and a single standard of excellence; the principles that made America horrendous were pushed to the side while the Whites are trying to redeem themselves of being White. This is somewhat questionable as being a completely conscious venture by the White’s but it is fair to suggest that Steele’s points are valid in saying that most racial reforms to embrace affirmative action and welfare conceived as a type of deferential opportunity for Whites, a type of way to fulfil and not as such an opportunity for Blacks. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was formed to aid in the ensuring individual rights as opposed to agglomeration rights but through moral shame and lack of moral authority as Whites it rather quickly became an avenue for group pick and mandatory quotas as stated in Race and Responsibility by Steele. Rauchut states that “Foul to King’s dream, we are encouraged not to judge each other by the content of our character, but, rather, by the color of our skin”. It has remained debatable whether diversity within the professional workplace has helped to reach more productivity and higher morale – if it had – Rauchut also poitnes out that to say whether or not it was supportive would in itself be racist or exist. The concept of group preference in higher education in fact proved to be destructive to Black Americans; for schools to reach minority quotas to receive government funding they allowed entry of Black Americans a far lower standard which ultimately set them up for failure. For example, when race was prohibited on college entr applications, Black Americans chose schools that were better suited to match their needs and essentially a higher percentage graduated according to Rauchut. D’Souza discussed multiculturalism course as focusing too much heed on oppression, slavery, and colonialism vice traditional Western civilization which is known for institutions of democracy, capitalism and sciences. Frederick Lynch discusses in The Variation Machine the approach of many multicultural courses as being centered around a “salad bowl” concept when in episode these types of courses would be more beneficial if they focused on areas other than the concepts of Whites being oppressive and negative; it would be justifiably multicultural if it presented information on many races in an equal way. Integration in a Color-Blind Society is Not Reasonable, by John Brittain discusses the continuing
problem of racism saying that racism will be a more permanent tool and that society should continue to study it and find new ways to combat it.
Several authors in this week’s readings suggest that racism can in incident be a barrier to opportunity – and that on the opposing side it can be an avenue to a better opportunity. As pointed out, if some of the struggles and pain were not endured then perhaps people would not be as fortuitous as they are today. I do feel that accountability is necessary regardless of race, as is responsibility of one’s own life.
Student Loans Without Cosigner for Medical School?
Lately my fiance has become very feverish about going to school for medicine (anesthesiology).
He has only completed 2 years of schooling so far, and will need serious financial help to get though the other 2 years as well as med school.
Aside from FAFSA, are there avenues he can look into to aid cover the costs? Both of our families have recently fallen into financial issues and will not likely be approved to cosign a advance. Are there loans available that do not require a cosign? What if he begins paying them off immediately after residency?
Is it simply not reasonable for someone of low means to attend a decent med school?
Of course we will be trying like crazy to figure this out, but at this point, any judgement will help.
Thank you!
