How dilligent are the teachers and Staff about following it? I like to corrosion shorts and tank tops, do they get you in trouble for thinner straps or Shorts that are shorter than fingertip dimension?
Can my school force me to cut my hair?
May 21, 4569 by George B | Posted in Primary & Secondary Education
I chaperone a public school where the rule is that boys must have their hair cut to a certain length while girls have no such rule. The staff say that long locks on guys is a distraction but the way many girls style their hair is ridiculous but nothing's done about that... Is there anything that can be done to omit this rule?
If it is in the school's guidelines, then yes they can require this rule (just as they can a dress code).

i heard they can be conducive to you...
depends on the school

if the in the main is actually in the school's bylaws then yes they can enforce it. if you're serious about changing this then you can go talk to the principal, go to school board meetings, bring it up with pta, etc...solid luck!

My college is pricing me out/kicking me out and Iam maxed on loans.?
May 21, 9949 by Mrdude | Posted in Financial Aid
I did not away with financial aid, because my mother makes too much money (55 k a year< btw I don't get anything from her, iam only claimed to keep my health insurance. I have entranced all the loans i can, I am a ssophomore I did the stafford sub and unsubed as well as the pell. I still owe from last year. Is this even legal? heres their website www.smcm.edu . Also note, Iam a cancer survivor and 22 and on my own and have to pay car indemnification, food costs and rent. I cant get out of school or my tricare drops, and i cannot pick up any other health insurance for the moment. If you understand their philosophy, you can see that they or directly averting its following. Can I go to the state and have them rreprimanded, how do i do that?
Also, I have had staff make comments, that "this is no site for sick people" and so forth. may it be out of frustration with dealing with my mild beligereance regarding the outlet, I am wondering if thats honestly how colleges see themselves. Also, Iam 1/4th native american < so lack of diversity shouldnt be an big problem, I think. Iam however, white.
Can any parents with children with disabilities answer a few questions?
May 21, 8904 by Jamie | Posted in Special Education
Hello! My name is Jamie. I am a graduate disciple studying Elementary Education with an emphasis on Special Education. I am writing a paper about the family system make a proposal to. This theory sees the family as a dynamic unit that provides the environment for all children to learn and reach one's majority. It is important for educators to examine the family, as a whole and as individual family members to become the most effective family colleague and better fit the needs of both the family and the child.
If you have time and if you are comfortable enough, could you answer a few questions I have? All of your answers will be constructive to my future career.
How do each of your family members individually handle the special challenges you must face? Was this harder when your baby was first diagnosed?
How does the family interact together? Does this help cope with stress?
What is your perspective of your people? Do you feel that other people share the perspective? How do school systems see your family?
Do you feel that your family is open to communication in and fa of your household?
Do you feel that you have found community support (school system, church, neighborhood, etc.)?
Do you feel that your school has established a family-school partnership?
Do you ever find that school staff or other professionals become the origin of more stress?
How does your family handle stress?
Any additional or background information about your child would also be valuable.
Thank you!

Need confidence for new job tomorrow, after terrible experience previously?
May 21, 6953 by Daisy | Posted in Other - Careers & Employment
I acclimatized to work on tills and shelf stacking, my manager was awful, even many members of staff commented on the way she treated me, we had to have reviews and i aw she wrote on her pc that i was a cow, very unfriendly and staff were scared of me, i lacked the skills required and i dont pull my weight.
thing is, im a very very shy yourself, theres no way people could be scared of me because if they'd talk to me i would be nothing more then polite and just joke with everyone, 50% of staff i knew from school.
i tried truly hard, shelf stacking isnt exactly science so i couldnt understand how i could lack a skill, i was always ancient and really chatty and polite to customers.
She made it very hard for me, she destroyed my confidence so much that im terrified about starting my job tomorrow..its only as a kitchenette porter but im really worried ill be rubbish again and that the my new manager might not like me either,
any ways of boosting my confidence, or impressing the executive, im really lacking in self-esteem and i dont want it to effect me tomorrow.
Thankyou x
My son wants to join a karate school; Karate Teacher Background check needed.?
May 21, 4370 by Samantha Brown | Posted in Martial Arts
does anyone recollect a good place to get a Comprehensive Background Report on a potential Karate instructor for my son. I'm glad he wants to get complicated in healthy activities, but you hear too many horror stories on the news these days about sex offenders and criminals. I thirst for to make sure I do everything in my power to check this guy out before trusting him or his staff alone with any of my kids.
thank you
