what variety of computer/s do you have?
There was an old novel I read years ago and am wondering what the name of it was!?
Jul 29, 2009 by just.me | Posted in Books & Authors
The characters included Alicia (Mexican chick who became a movie star and either changed her name to something else or it was something else and she changed it to Alicia), Barry (her husband), his twin Beth (Alicia had a cosset that Beth adopted because Beth couldn't have kids), and Hap (her lover and Barry/Beth's brother). I find creditable there were other brothers and the family was set in a well do to community circa 1950's or 1960's (or somewhere there abouts).
Does anyone remember this book and if so, what was the name of it and who was the novelist?!
Thanks for any info!
Moving to Salt Lake City soon, I'm 34, single, male, non-LDS. Neighborhood recommendations?
Jul 29, 2009 by Tom | Posted in Other - Destinations
I will be poignant for work, and I don't know anyone in the area. I'd like to find an apartment in an area where there are running/biking trails and sport areas.
Probably looking for a 2-bedroom apartment in the $750-$900 range per month in a nice neighborhood that's fun but not too hatter.
I'm Catholic, and have no problem with LDS. I've heard that the negative stereotypes are way overblown. But I'd prefer not to be in the middle of an LDS-exclusive community.
Any recommendations on neighborhoods or suburbs? The job is in a northern suburb.
