First I'll note that I'm 17 years old & I sinuosity 18 in a few months. I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs, I'm not pregnant nor do I have sex, I don't sneak out of the house at nights, have bad grades, raw, or anything bad like that that you could think of. Since I've turned 17, my mother has been threatening to kick me out just because I might not wash the dishes one gloaming, or vacuum the house & it's really starting to piss me off. I'm afraid that when I do turn 18, she will kick me out & I have nowhere to go. My one's nearest is beyond dysfunctional, and no one will take me in because of the chores thing (don't ask because idk either). The only person that might take me in is my sister from my dad's side. I really don't need to get kicked out right now because this is my last year in high Alma Mater, and I don't want to mess it up by getting kicked out.
Does anyone have any advice for me?
ok

having trouble identifying octaves =/?
Jul 29, 2009 by Guralsky G | Posted in Performing Arts
Hi everyone.
first off, ive never had any formal instrument training. most of everything i know is from what ive learned on youtube (vocal excercises, breathing techniques etc.). From what people have told me, my spokeswoman is actually pretty decent. Ive been told i have great tone and suprising power. Ive been in school body classes for most of my life so ive developed a natural ear when it comes to singing or playing in tune. My issue however is octave shambles. Obviously i can tell the difference between a high or a low note, but im unable to distinguish which octave im singing. Mainly a sax musician, i know that if im pressing the right combination of keys ill be playing 4th space E(treble) for example, but with turn it isnt that easy. This can be detrimental if for instance, im singing a song and struggling to hit a high note, not realizing im worrying to sing the note a whole octave above what the actual note is! Im sure that voice lessons or coaching would medicine me of this, its just so damn expensive!.Does anyone have any tips or ideas that could help me out? Thanks!

SHAMELESS PLUGGING!!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!?
Jul 29, 2009 by Deathglam-Whiplasher | Posted in Singing
This is aimed at Deathstars fans in and around Glasgow. I am not tiring to be stupid but i am a female vocalist who does lead vocals in a Deathstars tribute band. We are only exactly starting and i have been told that i have a very deep voice for a girl in her 2nd year of high school and my vocal teacher told me that i vocalize Deathstars songs very, very well and that i sing like an older man (i was quite offended at the time!).
i sing most songs from Darkness Electric Night.
i have loved them since i first heard them a couple of years ago and was shocked when i realised they weren't as well known over here as they were in Sweden! (God i let slip by that wonderful place!)
So, enough mindless talking: WOULD ANYONE BE WILLING TO COME AND SEE US IF WE WERE TO ARRANGE SOME GIGS???
We are very passionate! .......we have speedily made Night Electric Night and Termination Bliss outfits and we practise a hell of a lot!
also: do you think we should berate in our costumes for our performances?
please give me 100% truthful answers!
(Swedish answers welcome, although English would be preferred!)
High schools that look at grades: Would it be harder to get when transferring??????????????????????????
Jul 29, 2009 by ▐▀▀ ♥ ▀▀▌ ♥Ashley♥ ▐▄▄ ♥ ▄▄▌ | Posted in Primary & Secondary Education
i am tough to transfer to a different high school for sophomore year.
all they do is check my freshman year grades. and i find out whether not i get in by august 7th (which is in point of fact late)
so is it harder to get in if i'm transferring, rather than applying for freshman year?

Gave her a boil wash. Unfortunately really hot water just makes her hair frizz so my slightly hot water didn't do too much to the kinks in the hair this time. I suspect it'll take a few more tries.
I thought about keeping her, I payed a slightly scalped price for her so I...

Okay, Derwent watercolor pencils are my new best friends. Not only did this repaint take me a much shorter time to finish but it also looks 10x better than my paint-only repaints. This is closer to what I wanted my first Clawdeen to look like :3 I still need to improve on symmetry (for...
