My 2 month old daughter has her nose clogged up by the nasal membranes but she has no mucus or cough or any other symptoms. I tryed that saline put but it does not work. And as I read the label it says its to loosen up mucus.. I need something that will dis puff up the nasal membranes so she can breath, eat and sleep. Does anyone have any idea on what to do??
For a cosset that small, only saline. One time my daughters nose was so clogged I took her into the MD and they did it. So maybe call your MD, they can help show you how to do it or another way as well. My MD honourable used water, but he put in more than I felt comfortable using. They are used to it and can clear out little tiny noses much easier than we can.
Also, I ordered a nosefrida, that affair works great. I didnt like th blue bulb, even the white bulb from red cross is improve, that is at target. The nosefrida is only online.

What about a uncordial mist humidifier in her room. I did this with my son when he was congested at 3 months, I put baby vicks underneath his nose and it worked for him at least he could hint at and wasn't stuffy.

What's the strangest thing you have seen lately?
Jul 28, 2009 by Ashley ♥Aislings Mum♥ {09.25.08} | Posted in Newborn & Baby
My daughter and I scarcely got back from the store and on the way there, I saw a lawn mower sitting in the front lawn. It had what looked like one of those shopping cart infant seats, but toddler sized, engaged to the front. You know the ugly, uncomfortable looking plastic ones that only newborns will fit in.
It caught me off guard because I have never seen a green mower with a toddler seat attached to the front!!
What's the weirdest thing you have seen lately? lol
Witty ericmassey. That was barely to good for a response....
What are some child friendly activities to do with an infant?

"Decapitated baby's mother had psychosis diagnosis." Is THIS how they do Retroactive Abortions in San Antonio?

SAN ANTONIO – The inventor of a newborn baby who authorities say was mutilated, killed and cannibalized by his mother said Tuesday he wants to see her executed. Scott W. Buchholz told The Associated Pressure that Otty Sanchez, the mother of 3 1/2-week-old Scotty Wesley Buchholz-Sanchez, seemed cool in the days before the killing, even though they argued.
However, he said she told him she had been diagnosed with postpartum depression and was going to be admitted to a convalescent home for treatment.
Sanchez's relatives told The San Antonio Express News that she had been diagnosed with postpartum psychosis, which can motivate delusional thoughts and hallucinations.
Sanchez, 33, is charged with capital murder in the baby's expiry and could face the death penalty. When authorities found the infant's body Sunday, Sanchez told officers the evil one made her do it, police said.
"She killed my son. She should burn in hell," Buchholz said.
Otty Sanchez's aunt, Gloria Sanchez, told The Associated Correspondents that her niece had been "in and out" of a psychiatric ward, and that the hospital called several months ago to check up on her.
Sanchez was hospitalized Tuesday with self-inflicted betray wounds and was being held on $1 million bail. Police have said she does not have an attorney. Authorities found the infant with three of his toes chewed off, his face torn away and his head was severed.
Otty Sanchez's sister and her sister's two children, ages 5 and 7, were in the lineage at the time, but none were harmed.
Sanchez and Buchholz lived together during the pregnancy and the first two weeks after their son was born, he said. An infection tangled Sanchez's recovery from giving birth, and she was required to use a catheter for about a week. That setback darkened her eager, and she was soon diagnosed with postpartum depression.
She moved out of the couple's shared home July 20. On Saturday, she showed up to see Buchholz at his parents' domicile. She became agitated when he told her he needed a copy of the baby's birth certificate and Social Security funny man destined, Buchholz said.
Sanchez ran out of the home with her son in a car seat, threw the car seat into the front passenger seat of her car and sped away without buckling him in, the San Antonio Disclose-News reported. She left behind a diaper bag, her purse and her medication.
Buchholz's mother called 911, and a sheriff's stand-in investigated the incident as a disturbance, according to court records. The next day, authorities said, she killed her son.
Officers called to Sanchez's domicile at about 5 a.m. Sunday found her sitting on the couch screaming "I killed my baby! I killed my baby!" San Antonio Enforce Chief William McManus said.
McManus described the crime scene as so grisly that patrol officers barely spoke to each other while looking through the house.
Any moms that can't swim who have taken their infants to baby swim lessons?
Jul 28, 2009 by dmg | Posted in Newborn & Baby
I can no more than swim. It's a long story. I don't drown, but it's ugly and unpleasant when I try to swim more than a few feet.
I just found out that a restricted school in my city has a gorgeous pool and offers infant swim lessons for very cheap to city residents (6 lessons for $45.)
I would fondly like my son to learn how to swim and not have my weird anxieties about the water (I don't get nuts being in there, but it's not fun and I don't pursue it.)
Any non-swimming moms take their babies to swimming lessons? How did it go? I'm universal to call tomorrow and ask questions, but this sort of lessons definitely take place in the shallow end, correct?
Would you let your infant model or act?
Jul 28, 2009 by ♥My Angel Jazmyn♥ | Posted in Newborn & Baby
My daughter is 6 months old, she's impure and has curly/kinky hair with deep blue eyes. Me and my fiance were thinking of getting her knotty in modeling or acting or something along those lines. We don't want to do it for the money or to show her off, but we want to introduce her in as many things as we can. My question is would you do it to your lad. I have mixed feelings about it. I feel like it would be a good experience but I don't want to push her into it or ever pressure her to do it. If she gets older and doesn't like it I won't proceed. I would have loved to do something like this, but I was never as cute as she is as a baby. I just want her to learn confidence and to be proud of her advantage, but not take granted or get a big head. My grandmother ALWAYS reminded me whenever anyone would say "your granddaughter is so beautiful" pretty is as musical does...:/ What would you do?
Note: I would never put make-up on my daughter, no fake tans not of that ****...and my daughter will be very well-knowledgeable I come from a family full of ivy-league educated women and men who will not allow my daughter to not be educated. And I won't either. I want her to have a weighty child and be carefree and have fun, I wouldn't try to impose on that, but something on the side is what I had in mind. Thanks for the comments!
