For couples; concerning privacy, secrets and crushes?
Jul 29, 2009 by ♥Best for Last♥ | Posted in Marriage & Divorce
Hi guys and gals.
Ok, before anybody judges, I am in a relationship for the first beat and so is my boyfriend. I'm 21 and he is 27, planning on marriage soon. We both dated a bit before but we are each others' firsts. We are in a wonderful relationship for over a year now.
I don't have guy friends where I survive; they live in different countries. I have never been attracted to anybody else during our relationship ever; always focused and crazy about my man during year 1, but lately someone (in my own borough) that I went to school with has added me to facebook and we chat a bit since I have not seem him in a while. Since I've been talking to him I have a feeling of wanting to talk to him, you skilled in; the little crush fantasy. All my other guy friends I talk to a lot also, but don't feel like it's "forbidden."
Lastly guys, my boyfriend and I are not withdrawing crazy party people or anything like that. We don't spend time at all or don't even have opposite gender friends, unless expended in a group (never alone - not that I or him care, but we just don't - we have only same sex friends for the most part). The opposite gender friends are just facebook friends, coworkers; that's about it. I though, keep in enhance with 3 guy friends from college who moved away 2 years ago online. We talk like they're my girlfriends. My boyfriend knows about them and the new brand-new guy who added me and doesn't mind at all. Nobody has ever cheated on anyone and we are a wonderful couple.
So guys and gals, what's your opinion on having a favourable relationship but feeling a bit guilty about having some distractions with someone else, or secrets, or private issues? Can you name some that you've had as well, so I can hear? Saying the tete- cheating seems big...when does it cross the line and why do I feel this way? Does this happen to you married couples or serious relationships? It's customary, but it's annoying...
Please remember my boyfriend and I love each other and are together. We're mature; I am not a typical 12 year old idiot Y!A drug. Please be serious; thanks.

Okay.. here is my circumstances:
I've been going to school on and off since I was 18. When I lived back in West Virginia, I went to school for a little while but I unprejudiced took all the classes in the Native American Studies department and then dropped out so that never amounted to anything. Now I live in NJ and go to Community College, and I've been intriguing classes for a while and doing really well, but I was ignoring the fact that I have to take Math, Science, and a Language. I attempted the phraseology earlier this summer. I took Spanish, and I was the *stupidest* person in the entire class. The only reason I passed is because my schoolmaster felt really bad for me and said she didn't fail people for being bad at languages. When I got to Spanish 2, which is required, the instructor didn't have a similar philosophy so I dropped the class.
I still have to take FOUR math classes because I scored so low on the math position test (I don't even know how to subtract) and I have to take a lab science. I took a science class in WV that was easy for me, but that's because it wasn't a lab. I have wisdom disabilities and it's REALLY difficult for me to do Math. I had to take Algebra One three times in high school.
I never wanted to go to college in the first see. The only reason I passed high school is because A) I went to a reform school and we didn't have actual teachers, so "classes" were uncommonly glorified babysitting sessions with a stoned man on a power trip, and I flirted with the man who ran academics and he forged my records for me and B) Every nonetheless I started to do badly in a class, I would be severely punished and then be reduced to living the life of a 5 year old, crown with a 9 o'clock bedtime and not being allowed to leave the house unsupervised. So the combination of those two factors allowed to dated (barely though)
The only reason I started going to college in the first place is because my parents forced me to. Should I really be whining about this? To all intents not, since a lot of people who want to go to college never get to, but I DON'T want to at all. I don't want a career, I just want to be a stay at lodgings mom and homeschool my kids. That's what I've always wanted.
I would find a school that didn't require math (If they even exist anywhere near me) but my dad was unbiased yelling at me not to drag my fiance down with me. My fiance is really smart and he's going for his degree in biology and he is at bottom brilliant and amazing at school and I *don't* want to stand in his way, so I just want to drop out, go work in a interment home (what I really want to do right now) and stop wasting time and money on this pipe fancy. But then I have to deal with my stupid best friend who is a straight A student at her fancy private school and my parents and everyone powerful me I'm "selling myself short".
So who is the idiot here? Is it me? Am I going to end up as a cleaning lady someday because of my indiscreet decisions? Or are my parents the idiots for forcing me to be something I'm not?
Help!!! (And you have just won my eternal gratitude and pleasure if you really just read all that)
Are you compelling at anything? You could learn a trade, like plumbing, electrician, heating and air conditioning. If you're interested in working at the entombment home, go for it.
One thing struck me odd, though: if you are so bad at academics, why on Earth would you home-school your kids? Wouldn't you appetite them to have good education?

You're the only one who can referee whether or not you're selling yourself short. If you really want to go and work in a funeral home, then go take the classes that are appropriate for THAT. Commit a couple of years to really working your tush off to get the best grades you can get, and then go be the best funeral digs worker/director (whatever position you're looking for) you can be! It is an honorable career, and there is no reason why that should be considered "selling yourself unplentiful".

The Scourge of Obamacare (Government health care) ?
Jul 29, 2009 by G-man | Posted in Politics
Your thoughts on this communicative article? Best answer to the most well thought and well reasoned comment (regardless of which side of the issue you're on). This is a contest to either defend or refute the article.
1. President Barack Obama recurrently tells us that one reason national health care is needed is that we can no longer afford to pay for Medicare and Medicaid. But if Medicare and Medicaid are fiscally destitute and gradually bankrupting our society, why is a government takeover of medical care for the rest of society a proper idea? What large-scale government program has not eventually spiraled out of control, let alone stayed within its projected budget? Why should anyone be convinced of that nationalizing health care would create the first major government program to "pay for itself," let alone get smaller rather than larger over lifetime? Why not simply see how the Democrats can reform Medicare and Medicaid before nationalizing much of the rest of health care?
2. President Obama reiterated this background week that "no insurance company will be allowed to deny you coverage because of a pre-existing medical health circumstances." This is an oft-repeated goal of the president's and the Democrats' health care plan. But if any individual can buy fettle insurance at any time, why would anyone buy health insurance while healthy? Why would I not simply wait until I got sick or injured to buy the cover? If auto insurance were purchasable once one got into an accident, why would anyone purchase auto insurance before an accident? Will the Democrats next in request that life insurance companies sell life insurance to the terminally ill? The whole point of insurance is that the strong buy it and thereby provide the funds to pay for the sick. Demanding that insurance companies provide insurance to everyone at any time spells the end of the concept of guaranty. And if the answer is that the government will now make it illegal not to buy insurance, how will that be enforced? How will the government check on 300 million people?
3. Why do supporters of nationalized drug so often substitute the word "care" for the word "insurance?" it is patently inexact that millions of Americans do not receive health care. Millions of Americans do not have health insurance but purposes every American (and non-American on American soil) receives health care.
4. No one denies that in order to be brought up close to staying within its budget health care will be rationed. But what is the moral justification of having the asseverate decide what medical care to ration?
5. According to Dr. David Gratzer, health care professional at the Manhattan Institute, "While 20 years ago pharmaceuticals were largely developed in Europe, European penalty controls made drug development an American enterprise. Fifteen of the 20 top-selling drugs worldwide this year were birthed in the Collaborative States." Given how many lives -- in America and throughout the world – American pharmaceutical companies economize, and given how expensive it is to develop any new drug, will the price controls on drugs envisaged in the Democrats' bill benefit or impair Americans' health?
6. Do you really believe that private insurance could survive a "public privilege"? Or is this really a cover for the ideal of single-payer medical care? How could a private insurance cast survive a "public option" given that private companies have to show a profit and government agencies do not have to – and inclined that a private enterprise must raise its own money to be solvent and a government option has access to others' money -- i.e., taxes?
7. Why will hospitals, doctors, and pharmaceutical companies do not quite as superb a job as they now do if their reimbursement from the government will be severely cut? Haven't the laws of human behavior and common be under the impression that been repealed here in arguing that while doctors, hospitals and drug companies will make significantly less money they will keep on to provide the same level of uniquely excellent care?
8. Given how many needless procedures are ordered to keep away from medical lawsuits and how much money doctors spend on medical malpractice insurance, shouldn't any important "reform" of health care provide some remedy for frivolous malpractice lawsuits?
9. Donn how weak the U.S. economy is, given how weak the U.S. dollar is, and given how much in debt the U.S. is in, why would anyone seek to have the U.S. spend another trillion dollars? Even if all the other questions here had acceptable answers, wouldn't the state of the U.S. economy alone argue against national health care at this time?
10. Cross-grained to the assertion of President Obama -- "we spend much more on health care than any other nation but aren't any healthier for it" -- we are healthier. We mark time far less time for procedures and surgeries. Our life expectancy with virtually any

Of course, to the troglodyte hordes who think libertarians are merely libertines for not wanting to set government policy for the type of private things adults want to do, I suppose libertarians are the party of privates.
