What to put in a diaper bag for the hospital when you go into labor?
Jul 29, 2009 by kat | Posted in Newborn & Baby
This is my first offspring and I have been hearing so many things of what to put in the diaper bag. I was just wondering what everyone else has put in their diaper bag when they were expecting their child.
Well Kat-- my boys were all allergic to Pampers- so even though I didn't be sure this was going to happen- with my first son- I packed a few Huggies, Was I ever thankful. Other than that I had wipes, lotion, a few onesies, playsuits (terry sleepers) socks and his tackle to come home and a few cloth diapers for burp rags if needed (and they were) :)
Congratulations and good fate!

OH Baby Baby! 10wks left!! | Jul 29, 2009
-A variety of clothes for you to wear home. You'll be the same size as you were when you were 6 months pregnant, so you'll want to pack maternity pants & shirt that fit at 6 months.
-Notably pair of socks for you
-Outfit for your baby to wear home
-Baby blanket
-Camera
-Your hairbrush, toothbrush, any other cosmetics you might be
-Lip balm
-Some energy bars
That's about it. I actually didn't pack my bag until I was in labor, for both pregnancies. Don't worry, you'll have oceans of time to pack your bag.
Once you're in labor, and before you go to the hospital, I strongly advise taking a long hot shower and eating a best meal. It's the last shower and good meal you'll have for a while.
Good luck and hang in there!

opinion I didn't pack a diaper bag for the hospital. first of all the hospital will provide everything you will need during your stay there for your baby, they discourage dressing them in your own outfits while there since it makes it harder for them to control the vitals and such. Secondly, who in their right mind goes anywhere but strait home right after your discharged?

"Decapitated baby's mother had psychosis diagnosis." Is THIS how they do Retroactive Abortions in San Antonio?

SAN ANTONIO – The governor of a newborn baby who authorities say was mutilated, killed and cannibalized by his mother said Tuesday he wants to see her executed. Scott W. Buchholz told The Associated Congregate that Otty Sanchez, the mother of 3 1/2-week-old Scotty Wesley Buchholz-Sanchez, seemed pretty in the days before the killing, even though they argued.
However, he said she told him she had been diagnosed with postpartum depression and was going to be admitted to a nursing home for treatment.
Sanchez's relatives told The San Antonio Express News that she had been diagnosed with postpartum psychosis, which can occasion delusional thoughts and hallucinations.
Sanchez, 33, is charged with capital murder in the baby's liquidation and could face the death penalty. When authorities found the infant's body Sunday, Sanchez told officers the Satan made her do it, police said.
"She killed my son. She should burn in hell," Buchholz said.
Otty Sanchez's aunt, Gloria Sanchez, told The Associated Horde that her niece had been "in and out" of a psychiatric ward, and that the hospital called several months ago to check up on her.
Sanchez was hospitalized Tuesday with self-inflicted play false with wounds and was being held on $1 million bail. Police have said she does not have an attorney. Authorities found the indulge with three of his toes chewed off, his face torn away and his head was severed.
Otty Sanchez's sister and her sister's two children, ages 5 and 7, were in the quarter at the time, but none were harmed.
Sanchez and Buchholz lived together during the pregnancy and the first two weeks after their son was born, he said. An infection intricate Sanchez's recovery from giving birth, and she was required to use a catheter for about a week. That setback darkened her inclination, and she was soon diagnosed with postpartum depression.
She moved out of the couple's shared home July 20. On Saturday, she showed up to see Buchholz at his parents' dwelling-place. She became agitated when he told her he needed a copy of the baby's birth certificate and Social Security humorist, Buchholz said.
Sanchez ran out of the home with her son in a car seat, threw the car seat into the front passenger seat of her car and sped away without buckling him in, the San Antonio Depict-News reported. She left behind a diaper bag, her purse and her medication.
Buchholz's mother called 911, and a sheriff's reserve investigated the incident as a disturbance, according to court records. The next day, authorities said, she killed her son.
Officers called to Sanchez's shelter at about 5 a.m. Sunday found her sitting on the couch screaming "I killed my baby! I killed my baby!" San Antonio Control Chief William McManus said.
McManus described the crime scene as so grisly that regulate officers barely spoke to each other while looking through the house.
Qustion about my period (girls only!!!)?
Jul 28, 2009 by miley cyrus rox!!!! | Posted in Women's Health
This saturday i am booming to six flags. I was supposed to get my period 2 weeks ago so i changed the date to go to this weekend but still haven't gotten it. I will quite have it when i go so how do i cover it up? I can't use the rest room cause they are gross and even if i could you can't carry a bag around with pads because you are going on rides. So what can i use for alot of safe keeping. I'm 13 and got my first period at the end of june and it was alot of blood i have a very heavy flow. I leaked once(not good!) and that was because i hadn't changed my pad in 3 hours. I do not and will not ever use tampons i use pads. I was thoughtful maybe an absorbent pull up diaper thing and a pad might work but i don't know. How can i get through the day without having to change it?
what can i use that ....?

Im starting to get impatient with the waiting, I was just wondering 2 things, 1. how far along were you when you packed your hospital bag, and 2, what are some good things to have in the diaper bag.
