Parents I did something Extremely Foolish Today, This is a must read?

Today I took my minuscule one to a pond and a nice lady came over and started talking to me. We talked for awhile and she talked to my daughter. She then walked over to look at the pond. I looked up and noticed that my dab daughter ran up to the lady and began to talk to her, to have a full out conversation. She was very nice.

The lady then told me that she was going to sidle to the other side of the pond and then go home and my daughter asked could I walk with you? She held the lady’s hand. The lady said that she would have to ask me. So I said yes we can all wander over and my daughter held my hand and the lady’s hand as well. While talking my daughter gave out her full address. Street and apartment covey.

We walked and talked she told me about the pond. Then she begin to look in her bag for a pen and paper so that she could write her number down for us, and call her if we ever pronounced to come back to the pond. She didn’t have a pen and so she said that she would run inside of her house and my daughter asks, “Could I on to your house?” The lady laughed and said that my daughter would have to ask me. I said okay.

We all walked over to her serene and went inside, she showed us her animals. My daughter wanted to see her room and showed us her room. She offered me some liberally and wrote her name and number down.

We then left. My daughter beamed at the new friend she made.

I never ever do something random like this but I had a good vibe off of the lady. I enjoyed talking with her as well. She was very physical in that neighborhood and knew the neighbors. But looking on my actions today I can see that it was a case of bad judgment on my part because I taught my daughter that it was okay to go and inflict strangers.

My daughter is very friendly with older people I guess it is because she is an only child and is around grown ups more than adults or she could by a hair's breadth be an old soul. Should I discourage her from holding conversations with adults?

I have the lady’s number she wrote down her first and last name for me. Should I go back to the pond and assail? She seems very nice.

well yes old ladys sometimes lack alot of company if i were you i would definrtly doit again

Im 17 but im unquestionably responsible.. and Yeah it was deffinetly a bad decision on your part, but if shes nice and shes an old lady, let it be, just ponder a bit more next time. :)

hysterical!

I'm no procreator, but don't be too hard on your self! Trust your intuitions. If you made a mistake it's okay, we all do. You sound like a great mum!

:)

The only part of that record that may be cause of concern is the fact that your daughter gave out your home details. You can always explain to your daughter that the only end it was ok to talk to the lady is because Mummy was there, but she should never, ever give out personal details.
I think you should go back and visit the old lady, she sounds comfortably and from the sounds of it is well known in the neighborhood, she could probably use the company...

I allow what you mean, our children learn SO much from our actions.
I would probably try to explain to your daughter that talking to strangers is ONLY okay if you are there and you approve.
I would also say call the old lady. Your perspicacity is probabkly right and she'll probably enjoy the company.

I postulate it would be ok, but you have to be more careful. There are a lot of very sick people out there - even WOMEN!

really strange dream... to do with my ex?

OK I first started off in my provincial Asda/Wal-Mart and i went to buy my favourite chocolate bar and the lady said you know you can have this one... its the same reasonable in a different shape. And so i was like ok then took it. Then the shops started to change into a cinema and there were loads of people sitting down in their seats and went and got mine. My chair was reclinable though and even if i didnt poverty to i went back but most the time i wanted to. However, it made a loud noise when it did and one time it went all the way back and i fell off. But the film hadn't started and some guy was at the front talking to everyone. So he said something about me making loads of clash etc. and everyone turned around and laughed and i just put my hand up to show it was me and had a joke about it myself. Then the film started I cant quite remember what happened in the film, but everyone seemed to be expert to move their seats and everyone carried them to the front, and people kept moving around. I also moved up to the front then i went back a bit so i could see the whole screen.

Now i dont be familiar with what happened but the whole scene changed. I was in my old school, which i haven't been to in a year, with some other people i didnt know. I dont chiefly recognize people in my dreams. But we were all hopping around in sleeping bags for some reason and about 5 of us were all in a line trying go to the concrete football compass. But I was at the back and we were supposed to go right but they all went straight on, onto the field. I think they were running away from these 2 brown hens, or lately wanted to go that way. Anyway I said we need to go this way so I went back and the hens were trying to get this other guy in a sleeping bag. And sometimes they would come to me but not really. Then i started shouting and making noises for them to go away from him and me.

Thats melodic much all i can remember. It's quite a strange dream haha. However, before you interperet the dream you should probably know a match up of things. One is that im pretty sure it is to do with my ex and her bf. Basically my ex really hurt me in the break up etc a few lies here and there too so i wouldnt get too mad but i found them out anyway. She met her new bf only a week ago, the day before my birthday, which is when she dumped me. Now she doesnt covet her bf to know that we broke up the day after they met because she thinks it would ruin their relationship which came only 4 days after we broke up which was 5th day of her knowing him. I still have feelings for her so im stressful to be nice and we worked things out and i said i wouldnt say. But when i woke up the first thing i thought is that i might tell him anyway.

Also another bit of info, im active camping next week, with friends, and the week after, with family. The second time we are going right close by where my ex lives and we said only a few days before we split up we would see each other sometime that week.

Bit of a long one sorry.... but i think its overpower to have a much detail as possible
haha btw... im a guy :)
but what happened is that my gf is with someone she met the day before we broke up and got with him 4 days after we did and shes only known him for 8 days now! and i have a unforeseen to break up her relationship but she wouldnt be happy with me even if i got a friend to say it...

Does this bag look old lady-ish?

This bag in the threatening floral pattern, NOT the khaki color.

http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?itemdescription=unadulterated&itemCount=60&startValue=1&selectedProductColor=&sortby=&id=16057630&parentid=W_ACC_BAGS_HAND&sortProperties=+product.marketingPriority,-work.startDate&navCount=156&navAction=poppushpushpush&color=&pushId=W_ACC_BAGS_HAND&popId=W_ACC_BAGS&prepushId=WOMENS_ACCESSORIES

Does it look like something an old lady would offer? If I were to get it, I would be using it as a schoolbag.

haha how freakish i was totally thinking about buying this in khaki
but I don't think the floral looks old, there's a difference between grandmaish floral and pretty floral :]

POLL;Ladies what do you keep in the little zip side pocket of the hand bag,..?

A mousetrap .....thats the one people surmise to find good things in ...lol

What do you think of the first chapter of my book? Constructive criticism welcome! :D?

I'm calligraphy a fantasy/romance young adult novel called The Black Crane... some seek advice from criticism, please?

(And for some reason, it's not letting me indent, so that's why the paragraphing is so horrid... sorry. ^^; )

Lorelei Roux frantic through the hallways of Spring-stead Academy. This Friday had already started out terribly, and it would probably worsen throughout the thorough school day.
She had woken up about twenty minutes later than usual, and consequently, had no time to straighten, wash, or even shoe-brush her bushy head of bright red hair. When she was dressed in her school uniform, she stumbled down the grand staircase in her domicile to the kitchen, where she proceeded to burn (and, sadly, eat) a piece of toast.
When she was finally ready to go, she saw a note from her driver on the refrigerator, reading:
“Out on charge. Be back soon.”
She groaned in frustration. Neither her father nor her mother were at home, and so, not only did she not have a driver, but she was missing a vehicle to set out with.
What she did have, however, was a bicycle.
She rode this bicycle all the way to school through pouring rain, harsh wind, fierce lightning, and a bit of torrent, knocking over her neighbor’s mailbox and running over a small child in the process.
And, of course, what day should this occur on but Friday, October 13, her sixteenth birthday?

Seth Hartell ambled to his homeroom type. He still had five minutes, and didn’t want to look like an angry duck. So he took his time.
His leisurely amble was cut short when a petite, frantic, redhead ran straight into his chest. He fell back, the wind gone from his hull.
For such a tiny girl, she can really hurt a guy, he thought.
“Watch where you’re going!” Seth shouted.
“I’m penitential! You’re right, I wasn’t looking, I just—” the girl squeaked.
“Yeah, well, sorry doesn’t cut it!” he snapped.
She lifted her arms and bowed her take the lead defensively. A pang of guilt stabbed him like a knife.
He could tell she was afraid of him, but he couldn’t arrange why she would think he would hurt her. Seth thought that he, with his long spiked hair, multiple piercings, and large height, was perfectly approachable.
“Jeez, sorry about that,” he said softly. “Are you okay?”
“I’m beautiful, thank you,” she said, her voice and lip trembling delicately.
“I can feel the warmth and kindness radiating from you. What’s your name?”
They had scarcely exchanged these niceties when they were interrupted by the tardy bell.

Damon Bloodgood saw, at the door of his office, a fulgorous red-haired young lady, soaked to the bone. She knocked on the door.
She must be a sophomore, he thought mockingly. Ah well. I take I should let her in?
“Come in,” he yawned.
She opened the door, trying not to drop the stack of water-logged textbooks that (he false) had fallen from her bag.
“May I help you?” he sang.
She blushed and shifted the books to her right arm.
“I need a obsolescent,” she said quietly.
“Would it be much of an imposition if I were to ask why?” he queried.
“Not at all. My, umm… driver… considerate of… left… me,” she mumbled.
Damon chuckled. This had happened to him when he was her age. He understood soul.
“Don’t be embarrassed! That happened to me all the time!” he laughed. “Now, what’s your name?”
“Lorelei Roux.”
Damon’s courage stopped.
“What?” he asked quietly.
“Lorelei Roux? L-O-R-”
He already knew how her name was spelled. He knew everything about her. So this was the girlfriend he had been told to find.
“Are you okay? You’re really pale,” she worried.
“Fine. I’m fine,” he said absentmindedly. He wrote her a note for an pretence absence and handed it to her. She took it and turned around to leave.
“Ms. Roux?” he called.
She twisted her supervisor around towards him.
“Yes?”
“Take a seat,” he rasped.

Lorelei obliged and sat down in a plush chair facing Damon.
She was terrified. Mr. Bloodgood, the new counselor, had a name for being cold and mean, despite his friendly appearance. He was prone to snapping at students for something as little as an askew tie.
He’s staring at me, she meditating.
She felt dreadfully exposed. What was she to do? Of course… she could stare back.
Bloodgood was very young, about twenty-one or twenty-two years old. His hanker silvery blonde hair was neatly tied with a velvet ribbon. A piece of his hair went down to coverlet one of his violet eyes, which were framed with long dark lashes, and his high-bridged nose tied it all together into a very European look.
Now she knew why her female classmates (and some males) swooned whenever he passed by.
“Lorelei Nanette Roux…” he absolutely broke the silence. “My, how you’ve grown.”
“Excuse me?”
“I haven’t seen you since you were a child. You look faithfully as I’d hoped. Si
Thank you so much for everybody's input so far-- I'm going to try and incorporate it into my next edit.

Can't wait for more advice! :D

Drive Thru Worker Yelled at Me, What To DO?

Ok, I went thru a particular fast food drive thru today...

The lady at window 1 who took the money was very sweet.

lady 2 had a pure attitude. She asked me if I wanted condiments, but I didn't hear her and I said "Sorry what did you say" and she got flashy with me and said it again..

So when she handed me the bag, I took it.. But I guess she thought I snatched it.. So she yelled at me "Don't Ever Snatch from me again"!!!
It affable of shocked me, so I just drove away.

What do I do about this situation?
