How do I handle this impossible customer that is trying to get a refund but not give me my merchandise back?

Ok so I auctioned off 12 wallets with chains on ebay, the ending bid was at .99 cents so they were at the end of the day given away. I had to ship them to canada so the shipping didn't even cover that I lost alot of kale but I shipped them anyway. She is claiming that a wallet chain is missing which is impossible but how do i call her a liar without sounding too blunt? I asked her to correspondence them back to me she says she's not interested in mailing them back to me!! So if she won't mail them back to me What am I supposed to do? It seems she's ready to give me a bad rating, which I can do back but still what is the proper way to handle this she's getting on my nerves.

Okay so this is understanding of a long story please bear with me because I am really stressed out over this.

So I had a friend who was down and out on his luck, his wallet was stolen with his ID and cash and he recently obsolete his job. One day I go to hang out with him and he tells me that he sold the person he was living with a TV and they gave him a check for 800 dollars but since his ID is gone and he didn't have a bank account he needed someone to money it. At first I was skeptical but nevertheless I am too nice to people and therefor agreed to put my name on it (the name area was left blank). I deposited the authentication then withdrew the cash he gave me 100 dollars for helping him out and all was good. Then three days later I find out that the check b determine was returned and now my account due to overdraft fees and my lack of money was about negative 1000 dollars. I was very stressed and contacted him in a minute, after a week of waiting he finally was able to get his mom to give him some cash with which he paid me back with a little extra for the inconvenience. All was gracious. Until now, a month later, I haven't heard from my friend he basically disappeared and I just got a call from the person he was living with. She says that my flatmate was stealing checks from her and some of them (not the one i deposited because the bank said it was returned?) went through and now she's missing money. She said she is turning over everything to the cops because she wants her legal tender back.

So now I am worried that even though the check didn't go through if I can still get in trouble for trying in the first place? And if so is it legally my fault since I was used by a man?

Please answer me soon, I have no idea what to do =(.

Hey all, anyone a font learned? I was wondering what the font was that was used on Samuel L. Jackson's wallet in Pulp Fiction that said "Bad Mam F**ker on it.
