I have a bunch of comic books most are superman 1991-1993 & I want to know how much they are worth?
Jul 29, 2009 by Ann | Posted in Comics & Animation
I need to know the best way to find out how much they are worth because i want to get rid of them.
It all depends on the comic and the prerequisite. Unfortunately, most comics around the '90s are dirt cheap (maybe $1 per comic).
You can check http://www.comicspriceguide.com/ or Wizard armoury or Overstreet Price Guide for a value. Selling the comics as a bundle on Ebay or Craigslist may get you the most change.
Good luck.

Jul 28, 2009 by Austin | Posted in Comics & Animation
I have about 250+ comic books that are mostly superman, Show, and various others that ive never heard of like "Mad Dog" and "Swamp thing" They are reprints from 1980's and id in reality like to sell them, but i dont know how much they would be worth. Each one is in a plastic sleeve and they are all in mint condition.

Comic book collection help?
May 22, 4380 by Christian M | Posted in Comics & Animation
I'm a comic order collector, been collecting since I was like 12 yrs old.
I'm a fan of collecting 1st appearances of specific Superheros and Supervillains...I have acquired wholly a mass of 1st appearances, but I'm still searching for more and can't seem to know what I want (or I forget)
Can anyone help and give me a list of who's 1st appearances I should summon up (and is worth collecting). It doesn't matter which publisher,
I love both Marvel and DC as well as others.
I'm not RICH so be easy on your choices..lol
Don't give me 1st Galoot, 1st Spider-man (or the holy grail 1st Superman)
I mean...I WISH but, unfortunately..I don't make THAT much money.
Anywhere between a price break down of $1 to $400 (or more if that comic is REALLY worth it). I appreciate everyone's help! THANKS!
Darkseid, Thanos, Vandal Demoniac, Sinestro, Professor Zoom ( the reverse flash), Dr.Octopus ( he's making a comeback in Spider-man #600), and the All together Trapper (he was revealed to be Superboy Prime in FC: Legions of Three Worlds). Good hunting and spending.

Superman Comic Book History (Part I)
A slideshow video showing the evolution of the Superman comic book. This video showcases Superman #1 - #271. The video starts off with the opening ...
can superman get drunk?
I’m no comic nerd (no offense to all of you situation-pubescent comic rules fanboys out there) and i haven’t announce a comic since clear form, but i often find myself pondering such ethereal questions such as this (i have no spark of life). also, would superman have wonderful immunity? can superman become a cure-all adherent? or does superman have some sort of Herculean denial to addiction?
i take it for granted that if superman was capable to get carouse, it would take a whole brewery good of rot-gut just now to get him a bit tipsy. could you contemplate superman as a recovering drinker? i assume most people who attended an aa union that superman was a associate of would mull over, “oh fuck it. if superman can’t do it, neither can i” and solely off themselves.
i also suppose that superman would be a miserable drinking buddy, but side-splitting at the same values bright and early. he’s purposes one of those drunks that unbiased gets depressed and whiny when he drinks. drunkenly sobbing and saying “boo hoo. i’m the last of my congenial” or “boo hoo. my planet blew up with my parents on it and now i’m all alone” or even “people impartial have a yen for to use me to helpers themselves, no one likes me for me” wha wha wha.
the zany part would make for a acquire in when superman is attractive and toasted and some supervillain tries to pull down urban sprawl. superman would drunkenly try to conflict him. he flies around into the vicinity the fly like the wind of appear crashing through buildings and destroying more shit than he saves.
would superman go to a bar with the supervillain that he at most battled with and guzzle it up to put “their differences” behind them or to stress that they can still be friends even though their “jobs” insist them to be enemies (kinda how prosecutors and defense attorneys can still dinner party together)?
one other aspect. would superman get a superhero hangover? i can ponder that drinking a whole vat of whiskey can Non-Standard real exert disruption on your centre and would authorization a hangover that could counteract the sun.
The tiny little bobblehead figurines we have on the bookshelf. The bookshelf doubles as my husband's "man cave". Lol .... lots of comic books and superhero stuff.
