I need help identifying a Star Wars comic book?
All I understand is it is about a pilot with a beard who feels bad about bombing a village and his commanding officer feels the same way. Later his apparatchik gets like assassinated by a rogue probe droid and they are on the death star when Han and Chewie are on it. The airwoman gets blown up in the death star in the end.
Stephen King introduction from Sandman book 8?
I have the Sandman comics from the library, except enrol 8, World's End, and was wondering if someone can give me a link or post the introduction from book 8 by Stephen King?
I want to be a comic book artist: Where do I start?
Ok, here's my practise. I've shown natural talent and have been drawing since I was around four. I taught myself to draw by watching cartoons, but watching tv and copying the elegance can only get you so far.
I'm in high school now, and my drawings are pretty good. However, I want to be able to work for DC or Marvel within a year of graduating. Most of the representation I do was learned from watching Sailor Moon and other childish anime cartoons, now, wanting to learn a more American genre, I'm not sure where to start.
I don't know what type of materials I'd need. Then there's the issue of money. I don't have a job, so my income is *very* fixed.
If anyone knows some free online tutorials, or where I can get supplies that I can afford, then I'd really appreciate it. I'd also like to advised of what comics I might get(as I don't have any) to use as refrences. The things I have the most trouble with are shading and coloring, so a guide for that would be helpful as well.
Appreciation you in advance.
Have you ever gone to Comic-Con, or any other similar nerd-fests?
I have been to the Harry Putter around and the Deathly Hallows book release party, and I have also been out to watch the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire motion picture on opening night. Let me tell you: the crowds were wild, and lots of fans were dressed up.
Most fun I've EVER had!
Poll: Favorite band, comic book series and video game?
Mine are ABBA, Archie Comics, and Failure Bandicoot (weird combination I know). How about you?
