i'm calligraphy a prequal in a form of a short story about one of the partners of mega woman which is the first character i'm writing a life story about. i need ideas for the new character known as light-up, she is an african american female with super powers comparable to gambits only she use's power chips and a whip but also dress's in a cowgirl like costume similar to forbid's whom is a marvel comic super heroin but with an orange colored costume like hers.
You seem to have everything all down about her already. Just one inanimate object I know nothing about comics so I have no point of refrence to anything. Whole nother langauge to me.

I need help finding Spiderman Costumes?
Jul 29, 2009 by motermouth | Posted in Comics & Animation
I'm looking to find lousy spiderman costumes ideas for my school, because our new spirit week theme is Marvel Comics and Sophomores chose Spiderman.
I exigency ideas to dress the Powderpuff Cheerleaders/Football players so about 30 people with a tight $300 dollar budget.
I have tried wholesale sites but I could not find any shabby full costumes.
Shirts would be fine if they are at a low price.
Thanks
I want to be a comic book artist: Where do I start?
Jul 29, 2009 by Tinea | Posted in Drawing & Illustration
Ok, here's my extent. I've shown natural talent and have been drawing since I was around four. I taught myself to draw by watching cartoons, but watching tv and copying the fashion can only get you so far.
I'm in high school now, and my drawings are pretty good. However, I want to be able to work for DC or Marvel within a year of graduating. Most of the design I do was learned from watching Sailor Moon and other childish anime cartoons, now, wanting to learn a more American form, I'm not sure where to start.
I don't know what type of materials I'd need. Then there's the issue of money. I don't have a job, so my income is *very* predetermined.
If anyone knows some free online tutorials, or where I can get supplies that I can afford, then I'd really appreciate it. I'd also like to positive what comics I might get(as I don't have any) to use as refrences. The things I have the most trouble with are shading and coloring, so a guide for that would be helpful as well.
Thank you in progress.
Do you think comics improve reading skills?
Jul 29, 2009 by Mtthwp | Posted in Books & Authors
No not the Marvel XMen ones but the literaly ones like Watchmen, V for Blood feud, The Dark Knight Returns, Sandman, ones with complex stories and characters. Do you think they update reading skills like what 1984, Lord of the Rings, or Great Gatsby does?

Was there a connection between Bruce Wayne: Agent of Shield (Amalgam) and Darkclaw (Amalgam)?
Jul 28, 2009 by Jason G | Posted in Comics & Animation
Amalgamation Comics was a series of one-shots produced by both DC and Marvel Comics in which the DC and Marvel Universes were combined. Was there a direct connection to these characters in the books? Were they associated with each other in the books?
The only correlation between these characters i know of is
Dark Claw: The Murder Gag:
The Jackal buried Jason Todd in a construction - a bomb meant for Dark Claw and Bruce Wayne. everyone believed Jason died. Jason wore the Moonwing ensemble while Dick Grayson was in Oxford.
