Why don't old people admit their flatulence?

I poor, seriously. This old dude totally farted, and it was obviously noticeable both by auditory and olfactory means. Additionally, all of the leaves prostrate off of my crocus, and I can't get rid of this bad taste in my mouth even after scrubbing it.
Note that this is not a one time occurrence, and has been developed over several unique occasions I've had with old people.
With their want of a strong sense of smell and the fact that they're old, they probably have already forgotten they actually farted by the time the incisive odor reaches their weak nostrils.

Three valid reasons.
1. His education has told him that bodily functions are best kept secret. That is to say, he was told long ago to never aknowledge them. In the last people were more uptight than they are today. It was considered rude to even think of mentioning that you passed gas, and worse when you confronted a herself about it. They simply play coy about the subject, and will deny it.
2. He may have lost a bit of the control he had in his youth. The human body will fart numerous times a day, but most of the period the bigger ones can be voluntarily held back. If he is up in his age, then he may no longer possess the ability to retain the pressure like he could in his young womanhood.
3. He may just find it humorous to pass gas public. I know many people including a couple seniors who will establish a sort of game out of it. The more disgusting the funnier the response.

How to clean a wire pet cage?

I have two rats in a metal wire crate. I don't know how to clean the wire without damaging or rusting it. I can tell that a lot of the urine smell is coming from the wire crate itself and not the plastic pan which I scrub down 1-3x a week. I hear that Urine Off is a god product but I don't know if I can use it on metal.
I true-love my rats but I can't take the smell of rat piss anymore. Please help!

Soooo indecent. But I guess my cat had diarrhea last night and couldn't wait until morning to go out. =( AND I have brand new, very expensive carpet. It's cute long, not shag, but in between shag and the really short stuff? And it's a light beige! (Just to shape matters worse!) I started to clean a little spot and it just seemed to smear in. My question is- should I hang on until it dries and try to pick it up that way?? Or should I scrub it out and risk a big smeary stain?? Help!!
Blackheads won't go away, what's left to do?

I have blackheads on my inner thighs, which is commonplace due to the moisture and sweating going on down there, but for some reason NOTHING works to take them away. I've tried everything- astringents, scrubs, blackhead strips, squeezing them, etc. Nothing I have tried will motive them to go away. Does anyone know other options that will guarantee the removal of them?

I have oily skin and need one that glides on smooth so it won't tug the eye section. Is this worth the price? Does this waterproof liner really stay on? Because I'm going to jamaica without delay and need something for nighttime when I go to the swimup bar. I decided to go to a cosmetics counter. I'm great at putting on mascara, flush, foundation, powder... but clueless when it comes to liner and shadow. Also, I've never worn any lip color so I'd like a MAC lipgloss. Can anyone give me their favorite colors? I have window-pane skin, blue eyes... I've never gotten anything with color in it, so nothing TOO crazy! I'm trying to learn more about makeup and fraction so this is one way to start! I wear scrubs every day. I never get to dress up for school or work, and never had an opportunity to look nice. So I'd like to start looking strict once in awhile, like if my boyfriend wants to take me out to eat. I'm excited to go and heard MAC eye makeup is great.
